HIPIRMS: Detectors

SIMION Exercises: These exercises allow user to simulate the properties of Faraday cups and discrete dynode electron multipliers. Included is a consideration of the effect of secondary ion suppression on the properties of Faraday cups. Included are SIMION models of a 90 degree sector instrument, and a triple sector instrument, all courtesy of Tony Appelhans of the Idaho National Laboratory.

Instructions: You will need to download the written instructions and the SIMION models to take full advantage of these exercises.
