The SIMION SL™ Toolkit

The SIMION SL™ Toolkit (version 1.2.1.0 - 2004-11-09)

The SIMION SL™ Toolkit is an add-on package to SIMION 6 and 7. It provides additional functions that extend SIMION's user programming and potential array manipulation capabilities.

SL Toolkit Components:

The SL Toolkit contains

SL Compiler	Write user programs in a high-level "SL" language (rather than low-level PRG code)
SL Tools	Import 3D CAD models and 2D bitmap images into SIMION as PA files, or quickly view PA files from Windows Explorer Import/export potential or field data (ASCII text) directly to/from PA files.
SL Libraries	Libraries for manipulate PA files from general purpose programming languages (C++/Python/Perl). Includes SL Remote, which provides C++ libraries for remote communication with running SL code.
SL Editor	Bundled text editor plugins providing syntax highlighting and other functions.
SL System	Bundled or dependent third-party software, including copies of the Perl programming language and a preconfigured copy of the VIM text editor.
SL Examples	SL, C++, Perl, and Python code demonstrating the SL Compiler and SL Libraries
Miscellaneous	Other extras such as the SL Syntax Highlighter--Formats SL code as HTML

Users of the SL Toolkit v. 1.0 and above can download free upgrades to all future 1.x minor versions.
