SL Editor

The SIMION SL™ Toolkit (version - 2004-11-09)

SL Editor contains the VIM text editor preconfigured with Robert Malek's VIM plugins for SIMION. These plugin provides syntax highlighting of SIMION PRG/SL/GEM files and access to the SL Compiler directly from VIM.

VIM comes in two versions: evim (easy mode, "modeless") and gvim (normal, modal). The easy mode behaves like most Windows-based editors. The normal mode generally requires that you first read a tutorial on VIM (otherwise, you will be confused).

Plugins for the Emacs text editor are also included.

For details, see the SL Editor Tutorial.

Special thanks is given to Robert Malek, who developed the VIM plugins. The VIM plugins are (c) 2004 Robert Malek and are made available to the public by permission on the website and packaged with SL.
